This charming canal dumb barge, now converted to a live-aboard is on a residential garden mooring in Little Venice. It provides a fantastic space for a permanent base, holiday home or pied-à-terre. The generously sized open-plan living room and fitted kitchen have a number of windows and a skylight which provide an abundance of natural light, giving the boat a light, airy feel. It's the perfect place to sit and enjoying the tranquillity of the canal. At the front of the vessel is a double bedroom with a number of built-in cupboards. A further bedroom can be found at the back, where there is also a bathroom with double shower, sink with storage underneath and a separate WC.
Externally, you can head upstairs onto the large roof deck, to enjoy those views further. The location also has the benefit of being a garden mooring, with small studio / garden room and the rest can be transformed into your own little oasis.
Little Venice is a picturesque spot where the Grand Union and Regents Canals meet and it's home to a number of waterside cafes, pubs and eateries. From here you could take a boat trip or follow the tow path on foot and enjoy the winding waterway as it snakes through the heart of the city. You can head downstream past the charming Regency streets of Maida Vale and on to Regent's Park and Camden beyond.
