Wandsworth is a district of South West London located within the London Borough of Wandsworth.
The town’s records go back to the Domesday Book of 1086. It takes its name from the River Wandle. To distinguish it from the London Borough of Wandsworth the area is sometimes referred to as Wandsworth Town.

Shopping in Wandsworth is centred around the High Street and the recently regenerated Southside Shopping Centre, which includes a great mix of high street stores and local shops.
