THE RENTING PROCESS

If you have already registered with us to be kept up to date with our most recent lettings instructions sign in here, otherwise please contact us or complete the registration form.

Why not consider a Short Let for a few weeks or months as a great alternative to staying in a hotel or serviced apartment?  Whether you are visiting the capital, working a contract or looking for a base whilst your home is renovated, Short Lets offer flexibility and most bills are included in the rent.

Long Lets of 6 months plus are more usual.  To be honest, with some of the exceptional views we offer you’ll find it difficult to leave!

For complete peace of mind why not consider renting a property managed by RiverHomes?  You will be assigned a dedicated property manager who will be on call for any day-to-day issues plus 24 hour emergency call-outs should the unexpected happen.

You will also be able to report any issues through our PropertyFile app.

By renting a managed property, you’ll also have the assurance that your new home is fully compliant with the ever-changing lettings regulations.

Once you have found your dream waterside home, don’t forget to let us know of any special conditions whilst making your offer.

Once you have your offer agreed, we’ll ask you to pay one week’s rent as a holding deposit to secure the property.

We will then apply for references, draw up the tenancy agreement or licence, take proof of ID and conduct ‘Right to Rent’ and Anti Money Laundering (AML) checks.  Finally, before move-in we’ll collect those monies due in advance.

Handover of keys and congratulations!

We will register the deposit with the Deposit Protection Service (DPS) until after the terminaton of the tenancy.

Following move-in you will be able to keep track of your finances by accessing statements through the PropertyFile app.

As required by law, we are members of a Client Money Protection scheme via Client Money Protect, membership no: CMP004076.  Click here to view our Certificate.

We’re also regulated by the Property Ombudsman.
